A geaedc cap of the IncP-1 group plaasid pKU10 has been prepared through the constraedon of recombinant phumlds coatahrbsg various frsgimeats of pKU10. Phenobpk aaabds of these derivatives but identified the location of genes encoding resistance to aupk n, tetracyelia, and
chlon~Y~l. The region involved in conferring resistance to ampkMa was located around two Prtl dies that are 1.OU apart. The tetracyetin reshaace gene was capped on the region of Hbrdin E fragment and a part of Hbrdm D fragment, and the deterriaaat for chforaephenicoi red daice gene was foalsed on Hindu D fragment.
